| Skinning Instructions for Rugs Start incision 2" from tip of chin and cut down the centre of the throat and belly to the end of the tail. Then make an incision from the feet along the umderside of the legs back to the centre cut. Care and Preparation Unless hide is completely prepared ( ex. lips split, paws,ears,eyes turned) DON'T SALT HIDE! Instead put in cool as possible location or freeze. Salting a unturned hide is of no benefit and may damage the hide in the end result. |
